Sing? Yes You Can!
Free your body • Free your voice • Free your mind
" I just think her methodology is fantastic. She will do whatever it takes for you to find ease with your voice. Her understanding of the body as an instrument is profound and she finds many, many ways to express that. Her musical knowledge is also profound."
Deb Toole, singer/teacher; conductor VIVA VOCE
Singing is what we do!
Are you one of the many who say... "I wish I could sing"? Have you ever been told you can't? Have you always wanted to, but couldn't find your voice?
Singing is not reserved for the 'lucky few'. It's our privilege and our right as human beings - we breathe, we walk, we sing.
It's what we do, but somewhere along the way, between messages like "close your mouth," "men don't cry," "you can't sing," "you have an ugly voice," etcetera, we've repressed and hidden our very primal instinct to express ourselves and our spirits through our voices. I can help you reconnect with that instinct.
I can give you the tools you need to find your voice again, get rid of tension which is getting in your way, tension you don't even know you've created. I can help you use your breath and your body to create and support your sound. I can help you reconnect with your body, become more aware.
It's simpler and more straightforward than you think. You just need the right tools, direction and encouragement, in a language which you'll understand and which will resonate within you (pun intended).
You'll wonder why you didn't do it before!!
And now, thanks to this wonderful age of technology, we don't even have to be in the same city to have a lesson. In fact, you can be anywhere in the world and we can Skype. So you don't need to let that stop you!

If the world was a song
As music director of the O World Project I had an opportunity to 'teach' the song to some amazing people, including a Buddhist Rinpoche, a NASA Physicist, a writer, a billionaire Capitalist, an Astrologer, a philosopher and cognitive scientist, a Benedictine Brother, a poet, and a developmental Biologist.
For many, it was the first time they had sung publicly, although they are all well known in their field.
It was all in fun and, although we put them in a vulnerable position, everyone was a good sport.
Have a look!
